Fairfield Bloom Tote Bag
Description
Ethically made in small quantities at our studio in Newtown, Australia.
Emblazoned with our gorgeous Fairfield Bloom Community Print, our tote bags are more than just a bag. Sure, they can carry everything you need to go about your day (and a little bit more on top of that with the contrast patch pocket), but we like to think that they also can carry a belief in the power of creativity and collaboration to enrich the lives of refugee and new migrant women, like those engaged through our Fairfield Bloom Community Print Project. And we think that's pretty awesome.
DESIGN: Tote bag measuring 36cm x 40cm with sturdy grosgrain straps measuring 55cm long. Perfect for carrying groceries, work or the gym - each features one of our print collaborations spliced with remnant fabric, and a contrast print pocket on the remnant fabric side!
PRINT: The Fairfield Bloom Community Print, featuring artwork by 10 Arabic-speaking women from Think+DO Tank’s Seed of Hope group in collaboration with The Social Outfit. Each season we collaborate with artists, designers and our community to create prints exclusive to The Social Outfit. Please note that print placement may vary, as we cut our garments to reduce fabric wastage.
Fabric
Outer: 100% organic cotton canvas, spliced with remnant denim (donated by one of our fashion industry partners working to avoid textile waste).
"Stylish, sustainable fashion and accessories that provide an income for our communities... everyone's a winner, the client, the earth and the creators."

"A great shopping experience! Easy to buy online and arrived quickly.
The jacket looks amazing - the fabric is wonderful and it is so perfectly made. It’s also nice to know this is not just some fast fashion, but rather has heart and soul! Love it!"
