Linda Jackson Yellow/Camel Patchwork Felt Coat
Description
Ethically made in small quantities at our studio in Newtown, Australia.
The colder months call for a big, warm coat to keep cozy in, and we've got just the thing! Our Linda Jackson Felt Coats featuring wool felt donated by Camilla & Marc that have been patchworked together and are a vibrant medley of colour and joy!
Produced as part of our Earn & Learn program over the course of six weeks by two groups of 19 women from refugee and new migrant backgrounds. We engaged the groups to teach them how to sew and embellish the coats using embroidery and beading techniques. The best part is that the groups were paid for every hour of the program, so they got to earn while they learned!
56 hours of paid work have been lovingly poured by our two groups of women into sewing and embellishing each coat with Australian Botanical designs inspired by our partnership with Linda Jackson.
DESIGN: This coat is fully lined and features a wide collar, generous fit, a flared hem for added volume, and two contrasting patch pockets. The coat features a patchwork design utilising remnant wool felt coating fabric donated by Camilla & Marc. The coats design was donated by Linda Jackson.
Each of our coats are one size fits all, but if you have questions about the coat's sizing, please don't hesitate to contact us!
Please note that each coat is unique. While we've tried to capture the coat and it's colours the best we can, there may be some slight colour variation in person to what you see on screen.

The jacket looks amazing - the fabric is wonderful and it is so perfectly made. It’s also nice to know this is not just some fast fashion, but rather has heart and soul! Love it!"
