In this class, you will learn how to make a pair of statement beaded earrings and take home your unique creation!

This workshop is offered by social enterprise fashion label The Social Outfit as part of the Australian Design Centre's Craft Week 2022 it will be taught Bilikis Gbadamosi, founder of African Jewellery label Billiano Designs. The Social Outfit is a proud stockist of Billiano Designs - with their bold colours and intricate designs Bili's earrings have been customer favourites for many years.

All materials for the class will be provided, just bring yourself!

This workshop is offered by The Social Outfit as part of the Australian Design Centre's Craft Week 2022 it will be taught by Master Embroiderer's Mary Brown and Carolyn Pearce. The Social Outfit collaborated with Mary and Carolyn for our "Earn and Learn" One-of-A-Kind Jacket Project, earlier this year.

This panel focuses on exploring the future we want to create for the textile industry here in Australia. Hear from local designers, researchers, and industry experts who are leading the garment & textiles industry in a new direction that places people and the environment at the forefront through the use of circular interventions, social inclusive employment models, material preservation and changing the culture of how we value our clothing.

Guests will have the opportunity to engage with the panel in a concluding Q&A session.
