Retail Training Program

The Social Outfit’s retail training and job readiness program is designed for young women 18-29 from refugee, asylum seekers and humanitarian migrant backgrounds.
The program offers 60 hours of paid work experience in Retail Customer Service over 12 weeks at The Social Outfit’s flagship store in Newtown, Sydney. Your in-store work experience is complimented with video training via our online school, industry excursions, financial literacy classes and mentorship to support you to secure ongoing employment after you graduate from the program.

Casual Sewing Technicians - start April 2023:
We are looking to engage a number of casual sewing technicians for 6-8 weeks on a job manufacturing items for one of our clients. We pay by the textile award hourly rate.
