Description

Ethically made in small quantities at our studio in Newtown, Australia.

Introducing our new Billy Linen Dress - crafted by a group of 12 women from refugee and new migrant backgrounds as a part of our Earn & Learn sewing program. The group were engaged in paid work experience - in most cases their first paid work in Australia. The team learned how to manufacture the dresses as well as master the skills required to execute the frill sleeve and trim details on industrial sewing machines. Available in a beautiful array of linens donated by Zimmermann.

Each dress took an average of 9 and a half hours to make by each Earn & Learn student. Every Billy Linen Dress purchased contributes directly to a women on their first employment - how magical is that!
